Post Beijing Courchevel Readies For World Cup Finals

It's a wave of champions who are already preparing for the most important meeting of the season: the finals of the Alpine Skiing World Cup! A golden opportunity for all our guests to get a closer look at the world's best skiers on our brand new "L'Éclipse" run, and to be able to encourage them in their conquest of the crystal globe. The competitors, the details of the program and the key moments of this event can be discovered here!

The ski elite for intense competition! On the starting line, on the French side, a solid array awaits the spectators: Tessa Worley, Johan Clarey, Mathieu Faivre, Clément Noël and Alexis Pinturault, the emblematic ambassador of our resort and winner of the big crystal globe last winter. But also the big names of the season: Mikaela Shiffrin, Petra Vlhova, Federica Brigone, Sofia Goggia, Sara Hector Michelle Gisin, Marco Odermatt, Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, Beat Feuz.

The 25 best women and men in each discipline will compete on the Roc Fer Olympic track in Méribel for the technical events and on our brand new "L'Éclipse" track for the speed events.

  • "L'Éclipse" is the flagship track of its finals, it starts at an altitude of 2,234m with technical jumps, areas of light and shadow and a drop of 960m over 3.2km long... a clever mix of complex specificities added to non-standard dimensions which already make it one of the most impressive and demanding on the world circuit.

A historic event is preparing, since “L'Éclipse” will be skied for the first time in official competition during the downhill and Super-G events, on March 16 and 17. A major novelty of this edition eagerly awaited by competitors and spectators alike!

From March 14 to 20, 2022, world skiing has a date with history in Courchevel and Méribel!

Thursday March 17

  • 10 a.m.: Super G ladies

  • March 19: Men's and women's giant slalom
  • March 20: Women's giant and men's slalom
