Kitzbuheler Alpen Promotes Easter Visits
Enjoy a winter holiday in the mountains this winter. With the general conditions relaxed and temperatures getting warmer, the days until the Easter holidays are getting closer and closer. The perfect conditions for a relaxed holiday with the whole family, because the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn is still in operation until April 18th.
Take a few turns in the snow with the little ones in the morning or leave them in the trustworthy hands of ski schools until you meet again at a hut at midday and let the sun shine on your face. In the afternoon you can discover one of the many off-piste attractions. Easter is the perfect time for families as the longer days and milder temperatures are ideal for snow fun in all its forms.
Slope offerings for young and old
Towards the end of the winter season, things get quieter in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, but by no means boring. Extensive pistes await young and old skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels. The beginner-friendly practice slopes including ski schools, funslopes and snow trails ensure fun and excitement on the slopes, while the parents do a lap from the Zwölferkogel to the west summit, Schattberg and Schönleiten to the Asitz. Just right to let yourself be spoiled with culinary delights at lunchtime in one of the numerous huts and to enjoy the sun. The lifts, slopes and Timok's Alpine Coaster in Fieberbrunn are also open for even more variety. And for all early risers who want to be the first on the slopes, some cable cars start as early as 08:00 in the morning!
There is much to discover in the afternoon: cozy horse-drawn sleigh rides, a walk over the Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps and the Baumzipfelweg or a hike with llamas make the winter experience away from the slopes a dreamy excursion like in a fairy tale. High-flyers dare to reach top speeds of up to 130 km/h on the Flying Fox XXL – one of the fastest and longest steel cable slides in the world – and watch the Alps from above while paragliding. Families and toboggan fans can look forward to five toboggan runs with different attributes.
The Easter bonus – free ski pass for children
Extend vacation and save money. The free ski pass for kids and teens born in 2006 or later is available from April 9 if one parent buys a ski pass for at least 4 days. Small children (born in 2016 and later) ride for free with the miniAlpini Card.

Parents with small children have even more advantages in the ALPIN CARD ticket network. Because with the Family Card, mother and father can take turns using a shared card. So while one parent takes care of the offspring, the other can swing into winter fun - and that for a one-time partner fee of only € 15.00. This means that the joys of children and winter fun can now be reduced to a family-friendly denominator: The Family Card – for parents with small children up to and including 3 years of age.
