March 26th & 27th: Freeride Testival In Hochfügen

After Saalbach and Wart-Schröcken am Arlberg, Hochfügen is the third and final tour stop of the FreerideTestival in Austria.

On March 26th and 27th, well-known manufacturers of freeride equipment will come to the 8er Jet valley station in the Hochfügen ski area - local guides will offer workshops, courses and safety training: "The Testival is a special experience for all freeriders - regardless of whether they are experts , or pros-to-be. Everyone has the opportunity to try their hand at terrain of varying difficulty and find out about the latest freeride equipment and, above all, about the essential safety equipment. We are very happy that the Testival is coming to our area!” explains Helmuth Grünbacher, owner of the Hochfügen ski area, full of anticipation.

Equipment tests of various top brands

Leading manufacturers provide new skis, snowboards, helmets, goggles or from avalanche transceiver equipment free of charge and without obligation, and interested freeriders put next season's equipment through its paces. Various side events such as workshops and courses improve the skills of freeriders while beginners get tips from professionals. Guided tours with freeride pros from the region, "quick services" from Toko and safety checks and courses for safe off-road riding are just some of the highlights of the tour stop.

Get-together with professionals, partners and sponsors

Under no circumstances should you miss the cozy get-together on Saturday evening in the event area. Here participants toast with professionals, partners and sponsors from the freeride scene and enjoy the music and free drinks together. "We're already looking forward to all the freeriders and the opportunity to discover the new equipment together with them," says Viktoria Gruber, marketing manager at Hochfügen, already looking forward to March 26th and 27th.
