Sunkid Installs New Summer Attraction On The Mountain Station Of The Isskogelbahn

At the mountain station of the Isskogelbahn in Gerlos, two 150 metres long wood-ball tracks and an adventure climbing course have recently been added to entertain the many young guests from around the world. The small wood balls overcome many different obstacles on their way downhill, producing unique melodies on the bells and xylophones and ensuring exciting wood-ball races with friends or siblings.

It is an investment that has already paid off in the first year. It not only created new attractions that expand the offer at the mountain additionally, in particular for families with children, but also led to positive consequential effects.

In the first few weeks after the device was set up, in particular gastronomy right by the mountain station profited from a clear increase of visitors and far longer times spent there. In addition to the resulting turnover increase, the wood-ball track itself also contributes to refinancing the investment. Each of the thousands of wooden balls sold through the vending machines adds 2.00 Euro to the operators' cashbox, turning the attraction, which is very popular with children, into a lucrative income generator as well. 

The wooden balls have a nice side effect from a marketing point of view as well. As a branded souvenir, they bring back memories of wonderful days in the mountains back home as well, re-awakening the wish to travel.
