Zermatt Receives Four Michelin Stars For 2020
The Michelin Switzerland 2020 guide shows: Zermatt remains a gourmet stronghold. The Matterhorn village has four restaurants that are among the best in the country.
It is a special honor for a restaurant to be awarded a Michelin star. In 2020, four Zermatt restaurants can look forward to this award: the After Seven in the Backstage Hotel, the Alpine Gourmet Prato Borni in the Grand Hotel Zermatterhof, the Ristorante Capri in the Mont Cervin Palace and The Omnia. This makes them one of the 122 best restaurants in Switzerland.
The “Bib Gourmand” award recommends restaurants that offer carefully prepared dishes with a particularly good price-performance ratio. A three-course menu (starter, main course and dessert) is available for a maximum of 70 Swiss francs. Among the 143 restaurants listed in the guide, there is now a Zermatt restaurant: the Aroleid Kollektiv restaurant.
