Zeal Optics Celebrates Earth Month With Sixth Annual “Shades for Seas”

To celebrate Earth Month and our planet’s seas, Zeal Optics is kicking off its 6th annual “Shades For Seas” campaign and will clean 1,000 square feet of coastline for a year (93 square meters) from locations around the globe with the purchase of every pair of sunglasses, goggles, or accessory lenses sold globally between April 1-30, 2025.
“As we head into spring, this campaign is designed to inspire people to think about the impact of their purchases and encourage them to vote with their dollars,” says Zeal Optics Sr. Director of Global Marketing Mike Lewis. “We’re incredibly excited about the response from our community over the last half-decade and look forward to expanding our impact in the initiative’s sixth year.”
Zeal Optics will donate $1 USD to Plastic Oceans International to clean up beachfronts across the Americas, Europe, and Australia. Plastic Oceans International is a U.S.-based non-profit organization working globally to end plastic pollution and foster sustainable communities. They operate with the belief that meaningful change begins at the local level and has the power to drive global impact.
