World Pro Ski Tour Announces Partnership With Ski TV
This week, the World Pro Ski Tour announced a partnership with SKI TV, a digital world hub for skiers and snowboarders on the web and on broadcast tv. With the abrupt end of the 2020 ski season for all snowsport enthusiasts, SKI TV offers a massive amount of content to view and enjoy during quarantine and beyond.
SKI TV started as a streaming online TV service in Australia in 2013, and quickly became popular. The platform now offers a place for skiers and snowboarders to get their snow-related content in one place. 100 major world brands provide their digital media content, including Faciton Collective, Atomic, Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports and many more. A subscription gives viewers access to streaming and an Altitude Card that offers discounts at resorts and snow-related businesses. SKI TV also supports ski, snow and other charities around the world.
“SKI TV offers a great platform for the Tour, allowing viewers to easily watch our docuseries, Life In Between Gates, and races from our archive,” says Jon Franklin, CEO of the World Pro Ski Tour. “SKI TV also shares a core vision with us, which is to use their reach to help propel the ski industry, including young, upcoming skiers, and aspiring pro racers.”
“SKI TV is excited about the partnership with the World Pro Ski Tour,” says Geoff Harrison, SKI TV Chairman and CEO. “The WPST has a great history in ski racing and has undergone a major revitalization in the 2019-2020 season.”
SKI TV is a membership-based service, and viewers can now stream the World Pro Ski Tour on Ski TV’s ROKU and Amazon Firestick channels.
