As a part of a full Tour revitalization, WPST brings more events and more opportunities for professional ski racers and spectators to be a part of the prize money, action and events.
The 2019-2020 season opener in Vail kicks off a busy winter season for WPST:
- December 14-15 Pepi Gramshammer Cup Vail, Colorado
- January 3-4 Moose Barrows’ Trophy Race Steamboat, Colorado
- January 18-19 Colorado Pro Open TBD, Colorado
- February 29-March 1 Director’s Cup Challenge Telluride, Colorado
- March 14-15 Eastern Pro Championships Waterville Valley, New Hampshire

“We are excited to build our race schedule from recent years as we visit more ski areas across the country,” says Jon Franklin, WPST CEO. “This is a part of a major resurgence in the WPST and dual-racing, providing our athletes more opportunities to earn a living while they prepare for the 2022 Winter Olympics,” says Franklin.
Other improvements in store for the newly re-organized Tour include enhanced activities and hospitality at races supported by returning sponsors Tito’s Vodka and Maine Tourism. Fans will also experience expanded television content and live event streaming worldwide.
“We are especially excited about our upcoming season, with more announcements on the way that are going to make the WPST even more exciting,” says Franklin. “We ultimately hope to draw more attention to the most exciting and easiest to understand ski racing format in the world,” continues Franklin.
