Winterwondergrass Tahoe Announces Lineup & Donations

With over 21 feet of snow this season and counting, Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows is once again priming itself for a long season of skiing and riding. Lovers of snowsports, the outdoors and incredible live music will converge at the 5th annual WinterWonderGrass Tahoe festival, returning to Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows March 29 - 31 and featuring more than 20 bluegrass and roots artists including Greensky Bluegrass, Trampled by Turtles, Leftover Salmon and Sam Bush Band.

In response to the devastation caused by the Butte County Camp Fire in November 2018, WinterWonderGrass announced that $10 from every ticket sold over the month of December would be donated straight back to the communities affected. Thanks to the overwhelming response by festival goers, WinterWonderGrass is pleased to donate over $5,000 to the relief efforts of its local partners, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and Klean Kanteen.

“We have never taken for granted the opportunity to produce a gathering in this unique and pristine environment. When the community struggles, we all struggle, so we’re doing our small part by donating $5,000 to relief efforts split between funds established by our partners Sierra Nevada Brewing and Klean Kanteen, both affected deeply,” shared Scott Stoughton, festival founder. “We thank everyone for their support and look forward to celebrating five magical years in North Lake Tahoe.”
