Waterville Valley Resort Opens New Welcome Center
Waterville Valley Ski Resort will open its new Welcome Center on December 20th, 2019 in Waterville Valley, NH. The Welcome Center is located at the entrance to Waterville Valley and will serve as a gateway to the four-season mountain community.
The new Welcome Center is the result of a partnership between Waterville Valley Resort and the Waterville Valley Resort Association, an organization consisting of the community’s businesses, nonprofit organizations, sports venues and the Town of Waterville Valley. The mission of the Welcome Center is promote Waterville Valley businesses, attractions, activities and events, while providing a welcoming arrival for guests.
“The Welcome Center will provide our visitors and guests with a warm welcome as they arrive in Waterville Valley,” said Jan Stearns, Welcome & Sales Center Director. “Most visitors don’t realize that the businesses in Waterville Valley are independently owned and operated. Thanks to our partnership with the Resort Association, we intend to educate and inform our guests about our entire community – from the mountain to the valley.”
Stearns added, “Waterville Valley is not only a world-class snowsports mountain. We are a community of condominiums, vacation and year-round homes, inns, lodges, restaurants, shopping, and four-season recreation like Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, golf, tennis and much more.”
This winter guests will be able to stop in the Welcome Center to get resort-wide information, purchase merchandise and snowsports products like ski and snowboard lessons and lift tickets – all at one convenient location.
The Welcome Center is also home to Waterville Valley Resort’s Central Reservations, Conference Center, and Group Sales teams.
