Venet Bergbahnen And Imster Bergbahnen Cooperate With A Joint Hiking Season Ticket

Starting in summer 2025, the Imst Bergbahnen and Venet Bergbahnen will offer a season ticket valid in both regions. This will open up a large area for hikers, day-trippers, and all those who enjoy the outdoors, accessible via two cable cars, but with just one ticket.
With one and the same ticket, you can take the gondola up to the UAlm in Hoch-Imst or further to the viewing platforms at Alpjoch, and on the Venet with the Rifenal and Weinberg cable cars to the summit hut and panoramic restaurant. Thanks to the collaboration between Imst and Venet Bergbahnen, this will be possible starting this summer season. "For smaller cable cars, it makes sense to leverage synergies and develop joint products. The new Venet Imst summer season ticket is a start. This cooperation represents added value for both companies, but above all for the local population," says Bernhard Schöpf, Managing Director of Imst Bergbahnen.
From 1 May in Imst, from 6 June at Venet
Hikers benefit twice: Both cable cars transport guests to the starting points for varied hikes and mountain tours – once in the Lechtal Alps and once in the Venet massif. Günther Platter, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Venet Bergbahnen, emphasizes: "It is important to think beyond regional borders. Sensible cooperation between smaller cable cars represents a win-win situation for all partners." The new Venet Imst season ticket is available and valid from May 1st at the valley station of the Imster Bergbahnen in Hoch-Imst. With the start of the summer season on June 6th at the Venet, the ticket can also be purchased and used there. In Hoch-Imst, hikers can enjoy the very popular three-hut hike from the mountain station via the Muttekopfhütte, Latschenhütte, and UAlm. On the Venet, the Zammer Alm, right next to the mountain station of the Rifenalbahn, is a popular destination, as is the Gogles Alm, which can be reached from the Krahberg via an alpine and meadow trail in about 1 hour.
Boundless mountain summer
The impetus for this collaboration came from Roland Reichmayr, initiator of the Tirol Regio Card, who advises the Venet Bergbahnen. He explains: "Hiking remains very popular. I'm receiving increasing requests for a summer season pass. The cooperation between Venet and the Imst Bergbahnen is a first step. We wanted to offer a simple pass that is available in both Zams and Imst and valid for the entire summer season in both regions." The pass costs €174 for adults and just €90 for children born between 2009 and 2018. Seniors can purchase the season pass for €139.
