Vauhti Speed Oy Donates Hand Sanitizer To Ukraine

Vauhti Speed Oy donates 30,000 bottles of hand sanitizer to Ukrainians.

“Russia's armed attack on independent Ukraine on 24 February 2022 has touched and shocked the whole world. A full-scale war in Europe, with innocent civilians suffering; women, children and the elderly are incomprehensible and totally reprehensible,” says Esa Puukilainen, CEO of Vauhti Speed Oy.

Ukraine is suffering from a impaired hygiene because of the war and there is a great need for disinfectants.  The composition of the Vauhti Clean & Go hand sanitizer is based on the WHO recommendation and recipe. The product has been tested and meets the requirements of EN standards EN 1500, EN 12791, EN 13624, EN 13727 and EN 14476.

Donated hand sanitizers have been delivered from Vauhti's warehouse on March 10, 2022. Vauhti Sanitizer’s are part of the humanitarian material assistance coordinated by Medifon Oy, a subsidiary of the Finnish Pharmacy Association, which is implemented through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. "Medifon Oy and the EU Emergency Response Coordination Center ERCC are able to provide the help offered by Vauhti to those who need it most," concludes CEO Puukilainen.
