THE MY SERENITY LABEL

After the success of its My Serenity guide, Val Thorens is continuing to encourage holidaymakers to practise anti-stress techniques thanks to its My Serenity label. Created by the resort in collaboration with doctor Philippe Rodet, a specialist in stress management and supervision, this label certifies the products, activities, approaches and experiences that contribute to lowering stress levels and guiding you towards a state of sustainable serenity, as much for clients as for resort locals and employees.

There are already 6 happiness providers in the resort: ski Qi-Gong by Caroline Vincent, the Serenity Pass by Anita Thevenot, the La Camille ski touring run, the Alpen Art, Supernova and Le Refuge du Lou restaurants. New activities will be accredited with the label throughout the winter. Further information available at Val Thorens Tourist Office.

A 450,000€ investment has been dedicated this year to overhauling the artificial snow network: replacing snowmakers and doubling the amount of equipment in certain zones, as well as ongoing maintenance work to guarantee exceptional snowsports conditions. 440 snowmakers and 13 machine rooms now cover the Val Thorens ski area, and 3 piste bashers boast hybrid engines to reduce their environmental impact.
