Vail Announces Four New Guest Experiences Including New Learning Terrain
As the ski season is in full swing, the Colorado resort of Vail has announced four new and improved guest experiences to make visitors' time on the mountain even more memorable.
- New learning terrain: The new Avanti Skills Zone is designed to help guests improve their abilities so they can tackle all of Vail's legendary terrain. Vail Mountain will groom terrain into three terrain “lanes” dedicated to: The Perfect Carve, Off-Piste Skiing & Riding, and Skills: Bumps, Berms, Spines, Rollers and more. With a dedicated surface lift, The Avanti Skills Zone is the perfect space for skiers and snowboarders to unlock their potential.
- Dive into the history of the resort: Guests can explore the history of Vail and the legacy of its founders with the renewed Legacy Hut experience. Located at the top of the Mountaintop Express, guests can visit the Legacy Hut as part of a free guided mountain tour with local historians who will ski guests around the mountains sharing stories of the pioneering spirit of Vail.
- For ski and dog lovers: Vail Mountain and Helly Hansen have partnered to launch Dine with a Dog, where guests can grab a bite to eat and meet-and-greet the resort's patrollers and patrol dogs. Guests should keep a lookout over Dogtown where they will be able to spot patrollers training the dogs to keep their skills sharp.
- The sweetest treat for kids: As a renowned family resort, Vail has partnered with Toyota to create the ultimate sweet experience for children. At Trail's End Treats kids (and adults too) can enjoy confection from a vintage airstream. Providing the perfect pick up for tired legs.
