USA Nordic Welcomes New Board Members
USA Nordic is welcoming our new board members joining the USA Nordic family! They hope these new members will bring some innovation to the organization, and are more than happy to have them join the team.
Tom Petro
Tom Petro is Managing Partner of 1867 Capital Partners, a venture investor in early-stage life sciences, Fintech and tech-enabled business services. He is Chairman of the Board of OrthogenRx, Inc. and Chairman of the Fox Chase Bank Charitable board. Tom also serves on the Board of Directors of Univest Financial Corporation, Genome Profiling, LLC and Fintegra and is a Board-Member-in-Residence for Silicon Valley-based Mach49. Previously, Tom was a founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fox Chase Bancorp and led its initial public offering. Before that Tom was President and Chief Executive Officer of Northeast Pennsylvania Financial Corporation. He is past-chairman BizEquity and the Pennsylvania Bankers Association and former board member of the American Bankers Association.
Liz Holbrook
Liz Holbrook spent her career as a health benefits leader at Aetna and US Healthcare. She successfully used innovative approaches, process and organizational design as well as Six Signa strategies to lead successful start-up, growth and turn-around initiatives. She led service operations divisions across the United States and internationally, and she designed and led corporate initiatives including strategic planning, culture change, and acquisitions. Liz now volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children and is on the board of Fox Chase Bank Charitable Fund.
Curt Dowd
Curt Dowd is the former CEO of Future Infrastructure Holdings. Prior to joining Future, Curt was the CFO at Savage Companies and also held a number of financial and legal positions with Huntsman Corporation. He is also formerly an attorney with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and CPA with Price Waterhouse & Co.
David Noteware
For thirty years, David has successfully created and led teams in for-profit and not-for-profit environments. He has served as founder, c-level officer and consultant in a variety of activities spanning finance technology, consumer products, electronics manufacturing, real estate, legal services, non-profits and software. He has founded and sold several companies and currently runs a small private equity fund while also serving on corporate and non-profit boards.
Alyse Forcellina
Alyse Forcellina leads Egon Zehnder’s Health Practice for the Americas and is also active in the firm’s CEO, Board and Leadership Advisory practices. Drawing on her experience in strategy and finance, she advises health companies on a wide range of talent-related matters including organizational design, succession planning, board composition, and recruitment and retention of executive talent. She works across multiple health sectors, including biopharma, health services, digital health and payer/provider. In her free time, Alyse enjoys reading great fiction (in the form of an old-fashioned book), practicing yoga, and engaging in any outdoor mountain activity. She lives with her husband and teenage daughter in Park City, Utah.
Dan Macuga
Daniel A. Macuga, Jr., 52, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer. Mr. Macuga joined USANA Health Sciences in 2007. Prior to joining USANA, Mr. Macuga was employed at the Chrysler Corporation, where he spent 15 years working closely with independent dealership entrepreneurs to help them build their businesses, increase awareness for their products, and keep them focused on effective customer relationship management. Mr. Macuga received a B.A. in communications from the University of California, San Diego.
