UK Outdoor Industry Awards 2025 - Winners Announced

The OIA is  very pleased to announce the winners of the UK Outdoor Industry Awards 2025, which were presented tonight at the 2025 OIA Conference at Shrigley Hall Hotel, Cheshire.

The awards process started at the 2024 Outdoor Trade Show (OTS) held in Liverpool in June, where a judging panel, made up of experts from the outdoor industry as well as key journalists and retailers, selected the finalists in each category.

The judging panel comprised: Adele Souster, Head of Planning, JD Outdoor; Cat Ellis, Editor, Advnture; Pat Kinsella, Consulting Editor, Advnture; Cath Casey, Director, The Climbers Shop & Joe Brown Shops; Chris Townsend, Gear Editor, TGO; Lawrie Kemp, General Manager, Nevisport; Nat Jackson, New Business Lead, Outward Bound Trust; Tom Cain, Buyer – Outdoor, SportsShoes.com; Chris Haslam, Freelance Journalist and Contributing Editor, Wired.

The judges selected the finalists based on a range of criteria, including innovation, functionality, choice of materials, environmental friendliness, safety and commercial viability. Those finalists were then put forward to a consumer vote online between November 2024 and February 2025, with more than 1100 consumers casting their votes.

They are also grateful to partners, who helped spread the word to outdoor enthusiasts:Kendal Mountain Festival, Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports, The Outdoor Trade Show, Camping And Caravanning Club, Youth Hostel Association, and Outdoor Insight.
