Titlis Bergbahnen Publishes Annual Report
Thanks to the positive development of the corona pandemic and its consequences for tourism, our company can look to the future more confidently than the last two years.
Although the situation in international tourism is still challenging and free travel in different parts of the world is not yet possible, a significant recovery is looming and BET no longer expect major restrictions due to the pandemic. Rather, they will deal with topics such as the rise in energy prices, the uncertain procurement situation, long delivery times, rising costs, higher prices for our guests, staff shortages, the tightening of the legal framework and the strong Swiss franc in the current financial year.
The occupancy of the BET developed very pleasantly - in winter they were able to welcome 482,497 guests to the TITLIS in the summer half of the year 345,119 guests. With 827,616 visitors, they close the financial year 63.9% above the previous year's result, the first entries increased significantly by 322,566. At CHF 53.5 million, consolidated operating income 2021/22 is 39.1% higher than the previous year, when it also included CHF 10 million state A-fund-perdu-Corona hardship compensation.
Over the entire financial year, a positive cash flow of CHF 16.6 million was generated, the profit amounts to CHF 3.3 million.
