The North Face Launch Skitour + Pro Programme

Today The North Face launched it’s latest innovative mountain gear, with the introduction of the new Ski Touring collection. 

With the closure of resorts, we’ve seen changes in the winter season beyond our imagination. Enter Skitour from The North Face. Designed to support those big day missions, from dawn patrol to last-light descents, the new collection is built for forging your own path through the mountains, supporting exploration beyond the piste.

Featuring Ventrix stretch insulation technology that adapts to your movements on cold-weather adventures, the lightweight fabrics breath when you’re on the move, but crucially insulates when the pace drops. 

This critical breathability is enabled by tiny laser-cut perforations that open with movement, but then lock when resting, allowing excess heat and perspiration to escape on the up-hill and preventing wearers from feeling the chill on the down-hill.

The men’s and women’s collection includes all new speedtour Ventrix hoodies in bold red orange and emberglow orange respectively, both paired with all black speedtour alpine pants. Windwall™ gloves, a chizzler headband and the Slackpack 2.0 completes the collection.
