“I’m so stoked to be representing the TGR Optics team” said Kai Jones, “I can honestly say the goggles are the most comfortable I’ve ever had and they’re awesome in any conditions.”
After years of working with the finest Zeiss camera optics in the world, and pushing the limits of sport, TGR has now taken another massive step to deliver the next frontier of visual experiences with TGR Optics premium eyewear. Tested by TGR's athletes and crew, the products have been subjected to the most extreme conditions by the best athletes in the world. The athlete team will don the TGR Optics line during filming, competition and freeriding sessions throughout the winter, highlighting the importance of TGR's athlete-tested mantra in the continued development of their new high performance goggle and sunglass products.
“Bringing TGR Optics to life has been a natural evolution for us.” said Steve Jones, CEO and Co-Founder of Teton Gravity Research. “For more than two decades, we’ve been using and testing the world's finest Zeiss camera lenses in the harshest environments and most remote corners of the planet. We’re excited to take that knowledge and collaborate with Zeiss to develop premier lenses for our goggles and sunglasses.”
“See the world through our lens” is the ethos driving TGR Optics, and in collaboration with Carl Zeiss Sunlens, TGR has designed, developed and tested new sonar technology to push visions and dreams into the future. This ultimate snow lens technology, Sonar by Zeiss, was designed for TGR with a contrast enhancement filter developed to brighten snow details and boost depth perception. Sonar technology by Zeiss is an all-round lens solution that helps improve performance with the world's best visual clarity.
