Telluride Ski Resort Announces 2018-2019 Winter Season Dates
With more than 4 weeks left to ski and snowboard this year, Telluride Ski & Golf has finalized its operating dates for the 2018-2019 winter season. Opening Day is scheduled for Thursday, November 22, 2018 and Closing Day is set for Sunday, April 7, 2019.
“Next season’s operating dates are based on our historical pattern: opening on Thanksgiving Day and closing on the first Sunday in April,” said Bill Jensen, CEO of Telluride Ski Resort.
In addition to these key dates the Resort has also announced that it will again be scheduling a Donation Day on Wednesday, November 21 st. Donation Day is historically the day before Telluride’s official opening day. Season pass are not valid on Donation Day; all guests must purchase a lift ticket for $25. The day’s proceeds benefit the Telluride Ski & Snowboard Club.
Next ski season in Telluride will also be marked by a continued investment into air access to the Montrose-Telluride Regional Airport from major U.S. destination markets. Early season guests will benefit from continued year-round flights from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) to Montrose-Telluride (MTJ) as well as Great Lakes’ year-round service from Denver to Telluride (TEX) and United’s year-round service from Denver to Montrose-Telluride (MTJ).
