Technoalpin Photo Competition – Announces 2020 Winners
The 2019/2020 TechnoAlpin photo competition has now closed, and we can report that we have received many photos from fans all over the world. This year over 200 photos from 21 countries were submitted! We were delighted to receive so many entries for the competition.
People were invited to send in photographs of TechnoAlpin snow guns or services between December 2019 and January 2020 to have a chance of winning fantastic prizes! The first prize was a ski weekend for two in a TechnoAlpin partner ski resort near the winner! The runners-up in second and third places were happy to win the TechnoAlpin ski jacket and the TechnoAlpin backpack!
The criteria by which the judges assessed the photos were creativity, innovation, aesthetics and content. They chose one photograph for the first prize and one for the second prize, and then they awarded not just one but three third prizes. The judges were equally impressed by all three photographs in third place and so each of the entrants won a TechnoAlpin backpack.
The 2020 winners
- Andreas Urscheler from Switzerland won the competition this year with a photo of the TechnoAlpin lances taken at night in Davos Parsenn.
- A photo of a sun-kissed TR8 won second prize for Christoph Hoheneder from Austria who captured the scene on film in the Hochficht ski area.
- Third place was shared by Alessandro Odorizzi and Luca Zuccolo, both from Italy, who impressed the judges with snaps of TechnoAlpin fan guns taken at night in the ski areas of Bolbeno and Seiser Alm, and by Svetlana Mikhailova from Russia, who delighted the judges with a very special photo of the T40 which she took in Dombay.
