TechnoAlpin Holds Innovation And Sustainability Days In Sweden
TechnoAlpin hosted the first Innovation and Sustainability Days in the Swedish ski areas of Sälen and Kläppen. Sälen is part of the SkiStar Group and is the largest ski area in Sweden, while Kläppen is a family-run ski area.
Approximately 70 participants from more than 30 ski areas across Sweden and Norway accepted the invitation to learn more about innovation leader TechnoAlpin’s new products and to gain exciting insights into different ski areas. TechnoAlpin staff members Markus Pfeifer, Paolo Bagozzi and Stefano Facchini, who have been working in software and product development for many years, gave detailed insights into the possibilities of data analysis and demonstrated the latest product developments. They also offered practical tips for efficiently making the highest quality snow possible. The TechnoAlpin sustainability report was also presented.
One particular highlight from the event was a guest lecture hosted by Bruno Felicetti, General Manager of renowned ski area Madonna di Capiglio in Italy. Felicetti granted guests fascinating insights into his resort’s innovation strategy, including the innovative Starpass ticket system and sustainability initiatives. He highlighted the long-term partnership between Madonna di Campiglio and TechnoAlpin.
On day two of the event, Per Granas (Group Purchase Manager) gave a presentation on SkiStar Group’s organization and strategy, as well as the innovative water supply concept in use at the Tandedalen and Hundfjället ski areas. A tour of the pumping station was followed by a visit to Kläppen, where owner Gustav Ericsson offered interesting insights into his ski area and treated guests to a final lunch in his Mountain Restaurant.
