TechnoAlpin Highlights Alpinal Pipe System- Simple To Fit In Challenging Terrain
The ALPINAL pipe system is a complete system made from ductile iron cast pipes that covers all pipeline construction requirements. The pipes and pipe fittings have been developed specifically for use in challenging conditions and are the ideal solution for water supplies in mountainous areas and at high pressures.
A special feature of this system is the simple laying that does not require welding. Even in difficult terrain, our experiences shows that up to 100 meters per day can be installed. Thanks to the push-fit socket technology, the pipes can be laid easily, quickly and even by semi-skilled personnel. This is predominantly due to the NOVO-SIT and TIS-K restrained socket joints, which combine a number of advantages. No concrete abutments are required for installation, assembly is quick, simple, and can be carried out regardless of weather conditions. Laying is achieved using a excavator and the corresponding installation tools. Plus, the ALPINAL system is designed for very high pressure up to 100 bar.
Push-fit connections also enable a deviation capability up to 3°. This allows you to reduce the number fittings, and cuts down the excavation and blasting work required. Even in rugged mountain conditions, the excavated material can be reused to refill the pipe trench, contributing to both cost efficiency and environmental sustainability.
Another benefit that underpin the flexibility and quick installation is the option to shorten the pipes on site as needed.
The ALPINAL system offers a high degree of flexibility throughout the planning phase and during implementation thanks to its diversity and simplicity. The system components are available from DN 80 PFA 100 to DN 300 PFA 100, through DN 400 PFA 85 to DN 500 PFA 75.
