Supersnow Presents New 700 Supersilentsnow Snowmaker

"Actually, we just wanted to build an even quieter machine, but then it turned out to be a snow gun with the absolutely lowest energy consumption in its class," says Oskar Schenk.

This was made possible by using a completely new nucleation system. By using new nucleation nozzles, the amount of air required to atomize the water has been reduced by over 50%. In addition, the air pressure has also been reduced by 2 bar. A lower air pressure causes less heat development and accordingly an even better performance in the limit temperature range. This makes planning the season safe!  

BEST in class in energy consumption. 

However, less air also means that a smaller compressor can be used. Instead of 4 kW, a compressor with only 1.5 kW is installed in the 700SUPERSILENT. This leads to a total power consumption of only 14.3 kW! According to official manufacturer information, the 700SUPERSILENT is almost 4 kW more economical than any comparable competitor model. With an average of 250 snow hours per year, this results in massive savings of 1,000 kW per season. This is the real innovation and a big step towards even more sustainability.   

Particularly quiet - TÜV Süd tested. 

The use of the new nucleation nozzles, coupled with the lower air volume and the lower air pressure, has a positive effect on the noise level, both of the nucleation nozzles and of the entire snow gun. This means that the 700SUPERSILENT can preferably be set up in inhabited areas, in valleys and at particularly sensitive locations. During the nightly rest periods, it makes sense to operate the snow gun in the even quieter SILENT mode. In this operating mode, the propeller speed is reduced from 1,450 to 1,160 revolutions by means of a frequency converter.

The extremely low sound power level was confirmed by the testing laboratory for acoustics and vibrations (TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH) using acoustic evidence (TÜV order number 500 603 786). Measurements were taken in real snow operations directly in the ski area.

700SUPERSILENT - completely new.

 With the 700SUPERSILENT, SUPERSNOW for the first time dispenses with the use of hydraulic components. Both the swiveling and the lifting of the blower tube are done electrically. The nozzle crown is also new. 90 water jets are arranged in a single circle. For the first time, only 6 instead of the 12 necessary nucleation nozzles were installed, which leads to even greater service friendliness. In addition to the proven 700A SE snow gun and the 700HYBRID, SUPERSNOW now has another snow gun in the medium performance segment with the new 700SUPERSILENT.  

The tried and tested remains. 

Just like all other SUPERSNOW snow guns, the 700SUPERSILENT can be easily integrated into the existing snow-making infrastructure of the mountain. By means of a direct interface or a gateway solution, SUPERSNOW snow guns can be controlled by all current control systems. Like all other snow guns, the 700SUPERSILENT can also be individually configured. It can either be delivered mobile, with or without a wheel set, or as a tower machine with a height of 1.7m, 4m or 6m.

World premiere on the Resterhöhe. 

As part of the SOMMER Awards, the 700SUPERSILENT was presented to a larger audience for the first time at the end of October 2021 on the Resterkogel. Since then, the snow gun has been on a demo tour and has already been demonstrated to over 20 customers.
