Successful Ski Press Media Test Day At The Snow Centre Takes Place, New Brands Attending
The second Ski Press Media Test Day event has taken place at The Snow Centre Hemel Hempstead on Tuesday May 21 with a successful turnout of brands and media participating.
Skiing celebrities including Chemmy Alcott, Graham Bell, Eddie the Eagle and double Olympic mogul skier Sam Temple joined the event alongside Elsa Dooley, a British Alpine ski racer and 2024 FIS race winner.
There were over 18 brands in total, including ski and snowboard equipment, clothing and accessories. Journalists had the chance to check out new gear for the 2024-25 winter season and get to test some of it on the indoor snow slope.
Brands included CARV, Colourway, CMP, Dynastar, Lange, Helly Hansen, No More Boots, ski-mojo, Snow Finel, Snow Shepherd, Blizzard, Tecnica, Smith, GoPro, Snow Shepherd and UYN.
A group from the Ski Club of Great Britain, attending a ‘Ski with Chemmy’ session, were also invited to engage with the brands along with any members of the public that happened to be there on the day. Two representatives from the snowsports charity Snowcamp also joined the day to talk about how they were helped to get involved with skiing and snowboarding by the charity and what it has meant to them.
