Stubenwasenlift In Todtnauberg Will Be Replaced By A 4-Seater Chairlift
The Freiburg Regional Council (RP) has approved the dismantling of the Stübenwasen lift in Todtnauberg (Todtnau, Lörrach district) and the construction of a high-performance 4-seater chairlift to replace the old lift. The planning approval decision and the approved planning documents are available for inspection in the town hall of Todtnau from Tuesday, August 20th, to Monday, September 2nd inclusive.
The display will be made public in advance in the town's official gazette (Todtnauer Nachrichten), according to the RP. The announcement will also provide information about the premises and their opening times. The display is intended to give all those affected and interested the opportunity to view the approved planning. All documents (plans, reports and expert opinions) of the planned project can also be viewed and downloaded from the RP website (www.rp-freiburg.de) under "News" from August 20th.
The new chairlift will not only improve safety, comfort and transport capacity for winter sports fans, but will also be in operation all year round. This means that both users of the planned mountain car route and hikers will benefit from the new facility. The first logging work is to be carried out in October. The mountain cart route is to be built from October 2025. After the 2025/2026 winter season, the old drag lift will be dismantled and the new chairlift will be built.
