Strafe And Powder Productions Partner To Unveil Second Season Of Iconic Lifts Film Series
Strafe, a technical outerwear brand inspired by living life in the mountains, has partnered with Powder Productions to showcase the world’s most storied chairlifts in the second season of the Iconic Lifts film series. The series premieres Tuesday, Oct. 31 with a profile of the legendary single chair in Mad River Glen, Vermont.
“Each lift in the series is unique to the terrain it accesses, the people who ride it and the story behind the lift,” says Strafe Director of Marketing Whit Boucher. “What transcends the individual lifts is the shared passion and love the locals have for these revered machines. We’re honored at Strafe to have the opportunity to tell these stories, which are vitally important to our mountain culture.”
Each installment in the Iconic Lifts series digs into the story behind a renowned chairlift, with interviews featuring resort staff and local skiers. The short films also feature professional skiers and Strafe ambassadors, including George Rodney, the 2015 Freeride World Tour champion, and Match Stick Productions athlete Connery Lundin.
