Stoked Media Group Launches Outdoors & Snow Titles

A new and exciting media company has officially launched in the action sports and outdoors industry: Stoked Media Group (SMG). 

Stoked Media Group owns and operates American Surf MagazineAmerican Snow Magazine and American Outdoors Mag. 

“I couldn’t be more excited!” said Stoked Media Group Founder & Editorial Director Cash Lambert. “It’s the start of a new era of action sports and outdoor media.” 

Lambert founded American Surf Magazine (ASM) in 2022, and explained the initial success of ASM combined with the reality that surfers frequently cross over into other sports, including skiing, snowboarding, and the outdoors, sparked the idea to launch additional media brands, and house them under a brand new media agency — Stoked Media Group — that speaks to collective stoke. 

“Surfers are adventurers at heart, so when the waves are flat, they head to the mountains to ski or snowboard, or to the great outdoors,” Lambert said. “We want to tell these stories — from the mountains to the sea and everything in between — to fully capture the ethos of the action sports and outdoors industry.”

American Snow Magazine is a digital platform that covers gear reviews for snowboarders and skiers — including the best powder skis, the best carving snowboards and the best ski boots — location reviewsculture pieces and more. 

American Outdoors Mag is a digital platform that covers the great outdoors, from gear reviews — including camping tents, protein barsemergency radiostactical knives — to hiking guides, fitness tips and much more. 

American Surf Magazine, the third title within Stoked Media Group, is a rapidly growing media platform that covers all things surfing, from gear reviews (boardshortswetsuitssurfboards and more) to surf guideswave pool news, and more. 

While each title is currently a digital platform, Stoked Media Group plans to launch print offerings soon.

In an ever evolving media landscape, Lambert distinguishes Stoked Media Group and its brands by their ability to speak directly to today’s action sports and outdoors readership.
