Slopestyle Contest And Mascot Day At Pats Peak
Pats Peak announces the weekend line up of special events on the weekend of Saturday & Sunday, January 20 & 21, 2018.
Saturday, January 20, 2018 is the S&DUB Board Shop Slopestyle Contest, sponsored by S&W Sports and Pats Peak. The Slopestyle Contest will take place in Turbulence Park starting at 12:30pm. Registration is from 9:30am to 11:30am in the Valley Lodge. To enter the contest, participants must have purchased at least a Valley Lift Ticket or have a Pats Peak Season Pass. All participants must sign a release of liability form, ages 17 years old and under need a parent to sign a parental consent. There is a ski and snowboard division with prizes awarded to the top winners. For more information, contact Joe Valley at 1-888-PATS PEAK.
Sunday, January 21, 2018 is Mascot Day. Nearly 30 mascots from around the state will be at Pats Peak starting at 10am. Mascots will be roaming around the mountain and available for photos throughout the day. There will be a Mascot “Dance-off” and Congo Line starting at 1pm in the base area. Bear; NEC – Pilgram; NH Div. of Forests and Lands - Smokey the Bear; NH Fisher Cats- Fungo; NH State Liquor Commisson – Investagator; Pats Peak - Boris the Bear; Pats Peak - Snow Ball; Elmo; Winnie the Poo; Picachou; Weare Middle School - Wild Cat; Hillboro - Hill Cat; NHTI – Lerory; Turtle Fur – Turtle; US Army - GI John; Toys R Us - Geoffrey the Giraffe; NH Speed way - Milo the Moose; OakHust – Oaky; Franklin Perce University - Rocky the Raven; St Marys Bank - Super Savor; Petey & Garrett the Parrot from Canobie Lake Park; The Burrito Man ; and more.
"Mascot Day was created for families to celebrate outdoor winter family fun where they can hang out with some cool mascots and take photos with them. Kids, big and small, love seeing all these different mascots in one place," said Jim Wall, Events Director.
