Slide & OTS Winter – Award Winners 2023 Announced

The winners of the show awards were announced in front of exhibitors, SIGB members and the media.  The awards are spread across six different categories including Snowsport Hardware, Outdoor Hardware, Software, Accessories as well as a ‘Fresh Brand’ category which is open only to new brands or first-time exhibitors at the show and an ‘Eco Award’ for brands that show particular environmentally friendly credentials. The Eco award was judged by Protect Our Winters UK (POW UK).  https://protectourwinters.uk

The award entries were on display at the show and were independently voted by retailers and the media.  The winners in each of the categories are:

Snowsport Hardware Category – Lange – Shadow 130 MV GW

Like all Aphex goggles 65% of flexible plastic is biobased, 100% of hard plastic is recycled and 100% of strap fabric is made of recycled bottles.

Eco Award – Rossignol – Rossignol Essential

Recyclable ski (77%) constructed using 30% PEFC certified wood, 30% recycled materials and 2% bio sourced. Produced using a simple philosophy and the fewest possible materials. Graphic design process using no solvents or water. Produced using renewable energy.
