Ski Utah Is Now A Drop Off Location For Goggles For Docs
Skiers and riders around the country are coming together to provide health care workers with goggles as a form of eye protection while fighting COVID-19 through Goggles for Docs, and Ski Utah is excited to announce that they will be collaborating with U.S. Ski & Snowboard to provide a central drop-off location in the Salt Lake City area. While there is not a current need in Utah, U.S. Ski & Snowboard will be shipping all donations that are received out of state to the requested donation sites.
Goggles for Docs is an effort to get used or new goggles into the hands of healthcare workers who currently have no eye protection as they treat COVID-19 patients. Both new and used goggles are accepted as long as they are in good shape and sanitized. Both clear and tinted lenses are accepted for donation, ideally with minimal scratches. Ski Utah will have a drop off bin inside the lower level of their office building where anyone can stop by to drop off their donation Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

What is Goggles for Docs?
Goggles for Docs is an effort to get used or new goggles into the hands of healthcare workers who currently have no eye protection as they treat COVID-19 patients.
Does Utah need goggles? / Where will the goggles be used?
Right now Utah does not have a need for goggles. That's why Ski Utah has partnered with U.S. Ski and Snowboard to send goggles across the country to those in need. U.S. Ski & Snowboard will ship goggles as they are donated to areas of need specified by Goggles for Docs. Should a need arise in Utah, we will shift our focus to help those locally as well.
What kind of goggles can I donate?
Both new and used goggles are accepted as long as they are in good shape and sanitized. Both clear and tinted lenses with minimal scratches.DONATION INFORMATION
