Ski Utah Announces New Communications Director

Ski Utah has announced  that Caitlin Furin has joined its team as communications director. She officially came on board in June and has been working closely with resorts and partners across the state to gear up for another season of promoting winter tourism in Utah and The Greatest Snow on Earth® 

Furin’s background includes work in public relations, media relations and corporate communications. She most recently worked as communications manager and press officer at U.S. Ski & Snowboard and attended the 2018 Olympic Winter Games this past February. 

Born and raised on the slopes in northern Minnesota, Furin graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013 with a degree in journalism and strategic communication. She moved to Utah in 2014 and quickly developed a strong passion for the state’s ski and outdoor industries. Furin is looking forward to combining that passion with her new role at Ski Utah.
