Ski Opening Schladming-Dachstein 2024 Will headline With Bryan Adams, Sting, Simply Red!

The Ski Opening Schladming-Dachstein and the Leutgeb Entertainment Group are going one step further: three top international acts will open the ski season in the Schladming-Dachstein region on December 6th, 7th and 8th, 2024. The Schladming 4-mountain ski area (Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm) will once again become a first-class event hotspot for up to 45,000 guests. Bryan Adams, Sting and Simply Red - a line-up that lives up to the name "The Grand Festival 2024". A look ahead to great things!

For the first time the Ski Opening Schladming-Dachstein will bring together three international superstars on one weekend in the Planai Stadium .

The Canadian singer/songwriter Bryan Adams will kick things off on Friday, December 6th . He is currently filling concert halls across Europe with his "So Happy It Hurts" tour and is extending it for the Ski Opening. Hits such as "Summer of 69" and "Everything I Do (I Do It For You)" as well as new songs from the Grammy-nominated album will be heard. A fantastic start to the three-day Schladming-Dachstein Ski Opening.

On Saturday, December 7th, the exceptional British artist Sting will perform . The 73-year-old has 17 Grammys, countless solo albums and four Oscar nominations to his name. His current tour "STING 3.0" will also take him to the Planai Stadium. Accompanied by guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas, the trio will offer a foray through Sting's career. A highlight is guaranteed!

On Sunday, December 8th, Simply Red will rock the stage with singer Mick Hucknall. The band will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2025 with a major tour of South America and Great Britain. On December 8th, 2024, local fans will have the opportunity to experience the soul/pop legends live. A program that shows the musical cross-section of Simply Red and honors the band's history.

The Ski Opening at the Planai Stadium is a fixture in the winter event calendar. After the spectacular concerts by Robbie Williams last year, Bryan Adams, Sting and Simply Red are continuing the tradition. The event has established itself as a cult event and delights audiences year after year with top-class artists such as Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas, Lost Frequencies, Timmy Trumpet, Die Toten Hosen and Robbie Williams.

Once again, he's bringing not one, not two, but three top international acts to Austria - all three superstars were guests at the press conference on the Reiteralm, where the "Grand Festival 2024" was announced. Together with organizer Klaus Leutgeb and presenter Silvia Schneider, the three stars took their place on the podium and gave a preview of three brilliant shows.

After last year's success, when 25,000 guests rocked the Schladming Planai Stadium over two days, this year's fruitful cooperation is once again a guarantee of success. The entire Schladming-Dachstein tourist region and the 4-mountain ski area Schladming with the mountains Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm are collectively behind this mega event.
