Ski Kare LLC Announces New Owners

Ski Kare, LLC, the largest distributor of Vola Racing Waxes in the United States, has been acquired by Kyle and Rachel Kucin. Gifford Hoback, the former owner, will continue to work for the company in a consulting and manufacturing capacity. Hoback founded Ski Kare in 1976.

Kyle and Rachel both grew up in Colorado and have been working in the ski industry in different capacities for many years. Kyle is based in Minnesota and is an independent consultant to Elevate Outdoor Collective, the parent company of the K2 family of brands.Business will continue as usual, although inventory has been moved to Minnesota to have a central shipping and receiving location. This will better serve customers throughout the United States.
