Ski Club Of Great Britain Appoints Ski Press To Handle Media Relations For 2022-23 Season
The Ski Club of Great Britain has appointed Ski Press to handle its media relations for the 2022-23 season, starting with immediate effect.
The Ski Club, founded in 1903 and with over 18,000 members is looking to celebrate its 120 anniversary in 2023 and is launching a number of new initiatives and holidays over the course of the next 12 months.
Ski Press will be responsible for communicating The Ski Club of Great Britain’s messaging across its products including Ski Club insurance, resort reps, Freshtracks holiday programme and key partnerships with leading brands such as Snow + Rock, Ski Solutions, Sunweb and SkiSet.
Other activity including events, participation at The National Snow Show and Freshtracks experiences will also be communicated to journalists and editors.
General Manager of the Ski Club of Great Britain, James Gambrill, said: “As we head into the winter of 2022-23 we have a lot to talk about. It’s an exciting time at the Ski Club as we are growing our Freshtracks programme and offering our members even more ways to help them save money on their ski holidays, plus building our profile in some of their favourite resorts. We’ll also be at The National Snow Show at the NEC during October and looking at many other ways to directly engage with members and also the media, which is why we are delighted that Ski Press will be helping us to connect us and our new stories to journalists as we go into our 120th year”.
PR Director of Ski Press, Rob Stewart, said: “It’s an honour to be asked to work with The Ski Club of Great Britain and tasked with communicating some really exciting news that we can expect over the coming months. The Ski Club has been a significant voice in the winter sports industry for many years and I really look forward to helping editors and journalists re-create that link between the media and The Ski Club that was always traditionally very strong. There’s enormous history behind The Ski Club, but the product and service it offers its members today is exceptional – I’m looking forward to talking more about that as we head into the next winter season”.
