Silvretta Montafon - Web Relaunch With Innovative Digital Travel Commerce

At the beginning of the 2023/24 winter season, Silvretta Montafon set about further developing the digital processes together with valantic Austria (formerly elements). The aim was to make all operational actors experienceable and bookable online as a unit. The two specialists valantic Austria and incert eTourismus played to their strengths as a "best of breed" duo. Together, a digital experience was created that gives guests seamless access to all of the resort's offerings.

Digital innovation power

Silvretta Montafon has been expanding its online offering step by step over the last few years. The last piece of the puzzle came in 2024: As part of this flagship project, the eCommerce process was redesigned, including experience booking, merchandising shop, online sales of vouchers and gift cards. The new, cross-company service sales from incert eTourism and the individual design adaptation were based on the website designed by valantic Austria. The redemption of vouchers and gift cards was simplified through numerous interfaces to cash register, payment and PMS systems of Silvretta Montafon companies and integrated into the operational processes. A decisive role was played by the connection to Axess for tickets using an API between incert and Pimcore, which makes all offers bookable and redeemable online for the guest from a single source.

In addition, the incert ticket system enables the digital sale of combined mountain experiences. The link to valantic Austria's multi-shopping cart has been modernized via the Axess API. This enables the joint booking of combination tickets with different service components such as ascent and descent, catering and accommodation from one shopping cart. As a basis for future customer loyalty measures, a customer account also enables end users to manage master data, tickets, orders, vouchers and other services.
