Sierra-at-tahoe Announces Spring 2025 Lineup With Events, Programs, And Exclusive Promotions

Sierra-at-Tahoe is celebrating spring and stepping into Sierra-at-Cabo with an action-packed lineup of events, promotions, and programs running through closing day currently scheduled for April 20, 2025 (weather and conditions permitting). Highlights include discounted weekday tickets, ski and snowboard clinics, themed dress-up days, and headliner events including Subaru Winterfest and Vans Methodology. 

“With fresh snow on the horizon and fantastic spring conditions, there’s no better time to visit Sierra,” says Dan Healy, General Manager, Sierra-at-Tahoe. “Our spring lineup and ticket promotions are designed to offer affordable ways for guests to access our mountain and enjoy all we have to offer.” 

Play Day Discounted Tickets (Weekdays $70) 

Starting March 11 through the end of the 2024-25 Season, Sierra will offer $70 lift tickets midweek for select industries including healthcare workers, active and retired military personnel, public workers, and college students. 

  • Tuesdays: Healthcare Workers 

  • Wednesdays: Active Military and Veterans 

  • Thursdays: Public Workers 

  • Fridays: College Students 

Tickets must be purchased and used the day of, and proof of employment is required. To receive a Play Day ticket, go to the ‘Group Sales’ station in the Pass Office to purchase. 

Ski + Ride $91/Day 3-PAK Lift Ticket Bundle  

For those seeking flexible skiing and riding at an affordable price, Sierra-at-Tahoe’s 3-PAK Lift Tickets offer the perfect solution. For just $91 per day, skiers and riders can enjoy the mountain any day of the season with no blackout dates. 

Women’s Ski + Snowboard Clinics (Sundays $50) 

Sierra-at-Tahoe’s Women’s Ski and Snowboard Clinics return this March, offering small-group, instructor-led sessions every Sunday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Designed for women to connect, build new skills, and explore new terrain, these clinics provide a fun and supportive learning environment.  

Each session costs $50 (lift ticket and equipment not included) and is limited to 15 participants. Ability level is intermediate/advanced, and reservations are available on the website. Reserving in advance is recommended.

Sierra Senior 55 Adult Ski Clinics (Wednesdays $85) 

Sierra-at-Tahoe is bringing back introducing Sierra Seniors, a new ski and snowboard clinic designed for advanced adult skiers aged 55+. This half-day program offers a welcoming environment to refine skills, gain confidence, and enjoy a lifelong passion for the slopes alongside like-minded individuals. 

Clinics take place on select Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, running from March 12 through April 9.  

Each clinic is $85 (lift ticket and equipment not included) and is limited to 7 participants. Ability level is for intermediate/advanced, and reservations are available on the website and recommended. 

55+ Adult Clinic Dates:

Sierra-at-Cabo– Dress Up Fridays 

Each Friday in March, guests are invited to participate in themed dress-up days for a chance to win prizes. Stop by Guest Services on the day of participation to enter to win. Themes include: 

  • March 7: Hawaiian T-Shirts – Bring the tropical vibes! 

  • March 14: St. Patrick’s Day – Go green and get lucky! 

  • March 17: Denim - Double down denim  

  • March 21: Onesie Day – Hit the slopes in your coziest onesie 

  • March 28: Jersey Day – Represent your favorite team

  • Friday, March 7: Sierra-at-Cabo Kickoff Party – A spring break-inspired celebration 

  • Saturday-Sunday, March 15-16: Subaru Winterfest – Live music, giveaways, and mountain fun 

  • Saturday, March 29: Sierra Playgrounds Party – A freestyle celebration of creativity and progression in the terrain park circuit 

  • Saturday, April 12: Methodology + Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) – A banked slalom race and hip jump competition 

  • Saturday-Sunday, April 19-20: Tentative Closing Weekend Party – Wrap up the season with a weekend of festivities
