Severin's - The Alpine Retreat: A Familiar Favourite Returns For New Season
Severins's - The Alpine Retreat in Lech, Austria, re-opens for the winter season with familiar favourites as well as new upgrades in Lech for the season ahead. With just 9 glorious private suites, it’s the apotheosis of laid-back luxury in Europe’s most exclusive ski location.
Lech is part of Europe’s largest skiing and hiking areas, loved for generations by the cognoscenti, the fashionable and the downright cool set, and its an idyllic destination for avid winter sports enthusiasts. Two new ski lifts have been added in the past year and, for adrenaline junkies, Lech is the only place in Austria from which advanced skiers can drop onto the mountain tops by helicopter.
Severin's offers quiet luxury on the edge of the village, in the Stubenbach quarter of Lech am Arlberg. With just nine elegantly decorated suites, all with open fires, squishy seating and vast bathrooms - as well as a four-bedroom private Residence - all rooms enjoy balconies and stunning panoramic views over the alpine landscape.
What’s on? The hotel’s Chef, Thomas Koch is partnering with the boutique luxury Hotel Byron (Tuscany), and its Michelin Star Chef Marco Bernardo, to offer guests a “Tastes of Mountains and Mediterranean - Lech meets Italy” dining experience. This package includes a 4x night stay, two gourmet dinners prepared by the expert chefs separately as well as one “four hands dinner” prepared by both chefs in tandem. Guests can expect in-room breakfast a la carte, a private shuttle service to the best ski lifts in Austria and more. This offer is exclusively available from 28th January - 1st February 2024
Embrace the best of both worlds with a city and mountains package experience. Partnering with The Louis Hotel in Munich, this twin-centre trip provides a design bolt-hole to enjoy Christmas markets within the heart of Bavaria - or visit the Opera, or swan through designer boutiques - before enjoying a chauffeured drive through the plains of Bavaria and up through the mountains to Lech, just three hours away. Once arrived, guests can ski, hike, ski tour, or wander through the village, enjoying the bars and restaurants there or on the mountainside, as well as fine dining at Severin's and a private “fondu by skidoo” experience to the mountain-side Älpele hut.
How to get there: Lech, Austria is just two hours drive from either Innsbruck or Zurich Airports, or fly into Munich for the twin-centre package.
The five-star superior hotel is a luxury hotel in one of the world’s largest skiing and hiking paradises - idyllically located on a mountain slope in the Stubenbach quarter of Lech am Arlberg, with a panoramic view over the alpine landscape. Thanks to traditional elements such as copper roofing, vintage Tyrolean timber and stone façade, the hotel harmoniously blends into its Alpine setting. Nine luxurious suites offer guests a new class of living in a contemporary Alpine style. Divided into lavish living and sleeping areas, the suites vary in size from 47 to 67 m2. Upon request, three of the nine suites can be converted into family suites to accommodate additional guests. The private Residence, with its 423 m², spanning two floors, is the embodiment of outstanding accommodation that is second to none and can be reached from the basement car park via a private lift. SEVERIN'S – The Alpine Retreat opened in December 2016 is managed by ATLANTIC Hotel Management GmbH, which also manages the five-star hotels SEVERIN*S Resort & Spa on the German North Sea island of Sylt and the ATLANTIC Grand Hotel in Travemünde, Germany.
