Season End Message Issued By FIS’ Eliasch & Vion
Season end message has been issued By FIS’ Eliasch & Vion, they say:
It’s a wrap!
The 2021/2022 World Cup season came to a close with the slopestyle competitions in Silvaplana and Ski Flying in Planica.
It was a year that took us to all corners of the globe. From Chur and Soelden via Ruka to Sun Valley and Lake Louise and from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Wengen, Seefeld and Val die Fiemme via Beijing to Courchevel and Méribel.
It was a season with many highlights and some major challenges. With victories and defeats, joys and disappointments.
We can be proud to say that our sport is second to none. Our ski family is big, it is passionate, and it is global.
The dedication with which the athletes and their support teams, the Organisers, the National Ski Associations, stakeholders, all volunteers and FIS staff work, day after day, has been phenomenal.
The enthusiasm with which the fans on site and in front of the screen cheer along has been incredible.
The Olympic Games, the Four Hills Tournament, the Hahnenkammrennen or the Tour de Ski are highlights of a season that shine bright. But every single World Cup, every training and every inspection inspire us and creates the foundation on which the sport can unfold its great fascination.
We would like to thank each and all of you - your passionate dedication is what made our season such a great success.
Thank You!
