Schladming-Dachstein To Host “Ennstal-Classic"

Vintage cars in their most beautiful form: “Ennstal-Classic” with many celebrities among the cars and drivers From July 17th to 20th: pure joy and emotion around the historic vehicles in the Styrian region of Schladming-Dachstein (July 15th, 2024, Schladming/Gröbming) - In the Styrian holiday region of Schladming-Dachstein, one of the most important automobile sports events in Europe, the “Ennstal-Classic”, will take place again from Wednesday (July 17th). It is already the 32nd edition of this vintage car classic, which will once again feature a strong international field of participants this year. Thousands of fans are expected along the route.

As always, there are many celebrities among the drivers, including ex-ski ace Aksel Lund Svindal, DTM champion Thomas Preining and motorsport legend Joachim “Strietzel” Stuck. For more than three decades, the Ennstal-Classic has been regarded far beyond the scene of classic car fans as a dazzling summer event in an effort to celebrate the cultural asset of the automobile. What began in 1993 with 35 cars has now developed into a cult event that stands for sportiness, passion and steering wheel legends.

This year, the rally will once again stop in numerous places in the Schladming-Dachstein adventure region, including Gröbming, Schladming, Aich, Pürgg and Niederöblarn. With new highlights and tried and tested stations, the Ennstal-Classic route will once again shine with sophistication, beauty and entertainment in 2024. As usual, the Ennstal-Classic explores the limits of what is possible with the cars of yesteryear on the roads of today, with, as always, unrivalled sporty special stages that demand a lot from both driver and navigator.
