Save The Date: April 10-12, 2020 New Winter Closing Event In Zillertal
The Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski region is hosting a unique winter closing event for the first time on the Easter weekend from April 10th to 12th: the ALPICON. Deep & Tech House and urban-international grooves transform the Zillertal mountains for three days into an outdoor stage with culinary highlights in the huts. First carving on the slopes and then grooving. The slopes become a dance floor at an altitude of over 2,000 meters. When the lifts close, it is far from over. It continues in the valley with lots of music, cuisine and entertainment.
Electronic music meets alpine flair
"We want to offer our guests from home and abroad a spectacular winter closing that creates a mood with a varied program," said Manfred Pfister, managing director of the tourist association Erste Ferienregion im Zillertal. The region's exclusive ski huts are transformed into extraordinary stages for live bands and DJs. Visitors to the three-day event can look forward to numerous international acts from the fields of deep and tech house. A highlight will be the performance of the seven-piece brass-pop band "LaBrassBanda". They describe their style of music as an energetic sound of techno, ska, reggae and punk.
Event highlights day and night
Spread over 2,000 meters above sea level, there is also a true variety of culinary delights. You can feast on the largest pasta buffet at 2,400 meters or taste exclusive wines in what is probably the highest wine cellar in Europe. “It is not without reason that we are the most active valley in the world. That is why our closing festival offers a lot of action in addition to music and enjoyment, ”said Pfister about the program. During the day, winter sports enthusiasts can really enjoy the great piste conditions in Hochzillertal-Hochfügen or move to the electronic beats. In the evening, guests no longer dance under the spring sun, but instead under the disco balls in the valley. Djs, concerts and much more provide for exuberant moods.
