Salomon Launches First Recyclable Helmet

Meant to be reinvented, the Salomon Brigade Index is the first fully recyclable ski and snowboard helmet on the market. Made with at least 96% of materials from the same origin, it can be fully recycled once you’re done using it, but there no compromise on safety or style.  

A little reflection goes a long way - nothing is lost, and plenty can be gained.

The outer construction is hard shell which is highly durable and lightweight. Internally, Salomon has used their EPP4D liner which works like a crumple zone on a car absorbing energy in the most efficient way in the event of an accident. Passive vent channels within the shell and liner provide airflow and the MaxFit 3D ear pads give instant comfort. The Custom Dial 360 allows for a personalised and secure fit at the twist of a dial, the liner is removable and washable, and there is a built-in goggle clip at the back. Uses Salomon’s oval shape fit.
