Saddleback's 2nd Annual Oktoberfest - Saturday, October 8th

Fall is in full swing in Rangeley and Saddleback's 2nd annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 8th is just days away! Time to dust off the lederhosen and warm up the yodelin' - Munich meets Maine in this family-friendly event. Plus, we're spinning the Rangeley Chair to sweep you up to some of the best foliage views around.

If you'd rather run to see the sights, kick-off Oktoberfest with a 5K race up the mountain road. A frosty pint will be so satisfying after you've scaled 2,500 feet of elevation. Details and registration link are here.

The Oktoberfest festivities and scenic lift rides begin at 11:00 a.m. Enjoy live music by Maine's premier Bavarian-style band the Oktoberfest German Band, and maple-flavored cotton candy and face painting for the littles. Try samples and swag from Bigelow Brewing and Dasch Craft Seltzer 

Main Events

1:00 p.m. - Brat Toss! Grab your partner and a bun.
2:00 p.m. - Keg Toss. Let's see how strong you are.
3:00 p.m. - Stein Hoisting Finals. Qualify for the final during the day.

Running All Day

11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Scenic chairlift rides at the Rangeley Quad. $10 entry for all.
12-3:00 p.m. - Lunch served on the deck. German-style food available as well.
