Rossignol Launches Retail Boutique In Heart Of New York City’s Soho District

Rossignol, a global leader in ski equipment and apparel, is launching its newest storefront in the heart of New York’s SoHo district just in time for the holidays. The location will celebrate the iconic 112-year-old French brand that has become an emblem of style and functionality in ski resorts, mountain towns, and cities around the world. Rossignol will host media and VIP guests at the grand opening of their new pop-up boutique located at 108 Wooster St on December 12th.

“We are incredibly excited to introduce New York to a unique brand experience that celebrates the history of the Rossignol brand,” said Francois Goulet, President, Rossignol Group North America. “New York City and the SoHo district have such strong ties to the fashion world. It’s the perfect environment to showcase the breadth of the Rossignol apparel offer and its convergence of technicity and fashion.”

The New York SoHo store will showcase Rossignol’s “Mountain-to-City” aesthetic, embracing aprés-ski culture in the iconic neighborhood known for arts, culture and fashion. Located at 108 Wooster Street, the Rossignol store will offer a unique shopping experience paired with a ski-focused edge, bringing the feel of the Alps to the center of SoHo.

The new SoHo store follows the successful launch of Rossignol’s first U.S. storefront in Aspen, Colorado last winter. Similar to that location, the SoHo boutique will highlight the brand’s 112-year history in winter sports with a fun, pop-design aesthetic centered around the brand’s classic rooster logo and the “bleu, blanc, rouge” colorways that are strongly linked to the brand’s iconic French heritage.

The store will host a full range of Rossignol apparel and accessories, from skiwear and technical equipment to après-ski, sport-chic, and urbanwear. The collection, blending technicity and fashion, functionality and refinement, represents a comprehensive range of mountain-inspired pieces that are perfectly at home in the resort, après ski, or on the city streets. Rossignol’s Sport Chic and Après Ski apparel collections will be front and center at the new location, while the brand’s iconic collaborations with Tommy Hilfiger and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac bring familiar names to the fashion-focused New York neighborhood. Curated for the contemporary international consumer, the Wooster Street location will offer elegant, dynamic, and trend-setting pieces with a focus on functionality.

Rossignol’s push into the retail space has successfully blended mountain culture with urban landscapes around the world. Successful stores throughout France, Italy, Switzerland, Norway, Austria, and China have proven the brand’s ability to build fashion-forward garments with an après-ski aesthetic, as well as the strong consumer appetite from mountain peaks to the city streets. Rossignol’s newest SoHo storefront will bring that same storied European ski culture to the heart of the Big Apple.
