After successful stops in Thun (Switzerland) and Innsbruck (Austria), the Snowfest family is now heading to The Hague for the third and final stop of the 2024 Rock A Rail Ski and Snowboard Tour.

During Snowfest The Hague (Dec. 6 – 8), the best street-snowboarders and freeskiers will take over the city center for the final showdown of the 2024 Rock A Rail Tour, where the Tour Champions will be crowned. Rock A Rail Ski goes down on Friday, Dec. 6th, the snowboarders are in the spotlight on Saturday, Dec. 7th. The Snowfest Village is open all weekend and offers opportunities to explore and try out winter sports, making it a royal winter wonderland for all. The motto is winter sports for everyone, free of charge. For the first time in 2024, the event will be held at Koekamp (Laan Van Reagan en Gorbatsjov), right in front of the central train station.

  • ROCK A RAIL SKI & SNOWBOARD - Snowfest The Hague marks the grand finale of the 2024 Rock A Rail Tour. One setup, two sports, three cities, three countries, three months. The top riders from the first two tour stops are set to compete, along with the 2023 tour champions and a handpicked selection of invited riders. In 2023, snowboarders Paula Benito (ESP) and Leon Gütl (GER) made history as the first Rock A Rail Tour champions. Paula right now has the best chances of claiming her 2nd Rock A Rail Tour win in a row with a 1st place in Innsbruck and a 2nd place in Thun. Anne-Sophie Lechon (BEL) is currently sitting in 2nd place. On the men’s side Petr Ershov (RUS) is in the lead after two events. All eyes will be on Innsbruck winner Moritz Amsuess (AUT) as he still has a chance to take the top spot with a good result in The Hague. Same goes for Thun winner Nick Pünter (SUI). In the ski category, Bendik Rasmussen (NOR) is leading after two podium finishes. He will be challenged by Innsbruck winner Ryan Stevenson (USA) and The Hague title defender Eero Haukkala (FIN), who took the crowd by storm last year with his crazy tricks. On the women’s side the Top 3 from Innsbruck, with Tereza Korabova (CZE) in the lead, will all ride in the Netherlands too. All 3 of them have the chance to take home the tour victory. All local riders can earn spot for the finals through the Rock A Rail qualifying event at De Uithof on December 4. Send a mail to qualifier@rockarail.tv to register.
  • SNOWFEST VILLAGE - The Snowfest Village is the heart of the event, celebrating the vibrant world of winter sports. The motto is “explore and try”: Experience the Zillertal Ski simulator or try one of the many activities for kids - the Blow-Up Ski Slope from NSkiV or the Blue Tomato Graffiti workshop. For the youngest riders (3 -7 years), the Burton Riglet will be available for their very first time standing sideways with the The Uithof snowboard school. On Friday and Saturday morning 8 – 12-years-old can join the “Snow Try-Outs” on real snow, while on Sunday local riders have the chance to take over the lower section of the ramp for a jam session with the experienced NeXT Snowboard Collective crew. Open to anyone familiar with rails, whether on a snowboard or skis. To participate, register via rampjam@rockarail.tv. Plenty of stuff to discover. Open on Friday (13:00-19:00), Saturday (11:00-19:00) and Sunday (11:00-15:00).
