Rittisberg: Operating License Granted For New Combination Lift
The cable car operating license for the new Rittisberg combined lift has been granted.
This major investment of 8 million euros was made on the Rittisberg just in time for the celebration of the 50th anniversary. The new "TMX 6-10 Rittisberg" transport system replaces the four-seater chairlift that leads to the mountain station next to the Rittisstadl.
The new "TMX 6-10 Rittisberg" transport system will soon replace the four-seater chairlift that leads to the mountain station next to the Rittisstadl. Construction work will start next spring. The new combined lift is scheduled to go into operation at the start of the 2022/2023 season.
"We are proud to look back on the past fifty years, during which the Rittisberg has developed into a popular family destination and scores points in both winter and summer. We want to start the next fifty years with a major investment. With the new cable car, we will not only increase the quality of transport, but also create new offers," says Rittisbahn operator Manfred Engelhardt. For him, the new combination lift is an important step towards taking the adventure mountain into the future.
