Ricola Becomes New Silver Partner Of Swiss-Ski

Swiss-Ski is entering into a four-year partnership with Ricola. As of the 2024/25 season, the candy manufacturer from Laufen BL will be prominently featured as Silver Partner Alpine with its logo on the ski jackets of all alpine athletes.

Thomas P. Meier (Group CEO) and Daniela Ruoss (General Manager Switzerland) from Ricola as well as Diego Züger (Co-CEO) and Matthias Rietschin (Head of Partnership & Sponsoring) from Swiss-Ski symbolically signed the partnership agreement on the Uetliberg, Zurich's local mountain.

Thomas P. Meier, Group CEO of Ricola, is looking forward to the collaboration: "Skiing stands for nature, fresh air and the wonderful Swiss mountains. Our Ricola herbs are also at home in the lofty heights of the Alps, which is why this partnership is a perfect fit."

As an official Silver Partner of Swiss-Ski, Ricola is committed to the Swiss Ski Association and focuses on alpine skiing. "We are proud to welcome such a traditional brand as Ricola to snow sports and to the Swiss-Ski family," says Diego Züger, Co-CEO of Swiss-Ski.

As part of the commitment, the Ricola lettering will be visible on the sleeve of the Swiss Alpine skiers' ski jackets from the World Cup season starting on Saturday in Sölden. As part of the partnership, visitors to the three home World Cups in Adelboden, Wengen and Crans-Montana will be able to experience Ricola on site, take part in activation measures and cheer in the bright yellow fan zone.

Ricola also attaches particular importance to the promotion of young talent. In addition to the experienced Niels Hintermann, Ricola supports Laura Huber (19, C squad) from Bern as an individual sponsor, the speed specialist Isabella Pedrazzi (20, B squad) from Altendorf SZ and Eric Wyler (23, B squad) from Brienz BE.
