Reichmann Ski & Board Tuning: Polymat Pro Receives ISPO Award 2023

The automatic covering repair machine POLYMAT PRO was awarded the ISPO Award 2023. The latest product innovation from Reichmann convinced the six-person jury of experts made up of industry professionals and passionate athletes.

The ISPO Award is given four times a year to pioneering products and innovations in the sports industry. The new POLYMAT PRO from Reichmann managed to stand out from the crowd among a large number of new products submitted.

Great praise from the ISPO Award jury

The jury was impressed by the automated, local repair directly at the scratch and the associated ease in the ski workshop. "This is a great innovation in efficient automated ski or snowboard base repair. You put a pair of skis or snowboard in and let the machine do the work, using less material and producing less smoke and fumes. The upright design also saves money space in the workshop," was the verdict of the ISPO Award jury.

The future of automatic pavement repair

The new POLYMAT PRO uses the latest camera technology, which uses a laser to precisely detect scratches or damage to the surface. This means that exactly the areas that are damaged can be filled with repair material. This enormously reduces material and energy consumption compared to conventional melting processes, which cover the entire covering with repair material. In addition, automated selective repairs save a lot of time as there is no need for time-consuming regrinding of the covering. In a series of tests, the automatic covering repair machine impressed with the very good durability of the repair material. There are also environmental and health aspects. Workshop employees can look forward to significantly improved air quality in the workshop, as the POLYMAT PRO hardly produces any smoke or fumes.

Exhibition in the ISPO Award Area from 28-30. November

The innovative machine will be presented to interested trade visitors at ISPO Munich in the Future Lab in Hall B1 from November 28th to 30th. Trade fair visitors have the opportunity to meet the Reichmann sales team on site and get advice about the new machine.
