Rab Names New New Rocky Mountain Sales Reps
Rab, an industry leader in merging the development of quality outdoor gear and apparel with sustainability and environmental awareness, announced today that it has named Stephen Nance and Corbin Biehler of the Colorado-based Freestone Sales Group as the company’s new sales reps for the Rocky Mountain Region.
Nance and Biehler have both served as the principals of the Freestone Sales Group since the company’s inception in 2019, and each one has extensive familiarity with Rab’s expanding line of products as well as personal relationships with Rab’s vast network of regional sales representatives. They will oversee sales in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Wyoming.
“We’re excited to be working with Corbin and Nance, because their professional reputations are outstanding and we know they’re going to do great things for Rab,” said Rab US Country Manager Jon Frederick. “Their reputation for strong personal engagement with retailers is a perfect match for Rab’s history of prioritizing retail relationships in the Rocky Mountain region.”
Prior to co-founding Freestone Sales Group in 2019, Nance spent six years managing the outdoor category at Colorado-based sales rep agency The Raven Workshop, representing Ibex Clothing and other outdoor brands. He also spent three years as a manager at Neptune Mountaineering, the celebrated outdoor specialty shop in Boulder, Colo., where he became familiar with Rab’s line of products.
“Rab has always been held in very high regard when it comes to the quality of the products as well as the story of the brand,” Nance said. “To have it come full circle from those first days when I saw Rab to now representing them in the region has always been something I wanted, but I was never sure it would happen. It only took a moment for us to say ‘Yes’ to a brand like Rab.”
Prior to co-founding Freestone Sales Group with Nance, Biehler spent more than six years as a sales representative for California-based Intermountain Trading Company, Inc., representing brands such as KÜHL, Earthwell and ULU Footwear over seven states.
“Whenever I wear a Rab jacket, it’s instantly recognizable and universally appreciated for its quality and integrity,” Biehler said. “So I’m thrilled to partner with a brand that continues to expand its footprint in the marketplace and we feel a great challenge to take that to the next level. We’re a young agency built on relationships and we believe Rab is built on that as well, so it’s a perfect fit.”
The addition of Nance and Biehler indicate an ambitious year ahead for Rab, which also named Ryan Krusemark as the company’s first-ever National Sales Manager in December 2020.
