Rab Introduces Versatile Adrift Packs For Everyday Life On The Move

British outdoor brand Rab (owned by Equip Outdoor Technologies Ltd.) introduces the new Adrift pack series for Autumn/Winter 2024. These versatile packs for everyday life on the moveSome description share DNA with Rab’s most technical climbing packs. They have been designed to adapt to the varied demands of an active lifestyle and survive the rigors of everyday adventure, from post-work bouldering sessions to commutes on two wheels.

The Adrift packs are Rab’s first climbing-inspired general use packs, with a fresh, contemporary aesthetic and versatile storage options. Available in four different colourways and both a 24l and 30l version, the packs feature a hard-wearing 210D nylon ripstop fabric and the close-fitting ContourTM back system with a flexible yet supportive construction that contours with the shape of the spine.

Key features of the Adrift packs include:

· Workspace compartment with 15’’ padded laptop sleeve,

· Internal tablet sleeve with additional organization,

· Hard-wearing 210D nylon ripstop,

· Front compartment with zipped pocket for smaller items (30l version only),

· Two side mesh pockets great for bottle storage,

· Bike light attachment loop for commutes on two wheels,

· Removable forward pull hipbelt for easy adjustment,

· Internal zipped mesh security pocket with key clip,

· Zipped top pocket for quick access storage,

· External lashing points,

· Front grab handle,

· Weight: 0.72kg (30l) / 0.66kg (24l).

The Adrift launch precedes a comprehensive expansion of Rab’s pack offering in Spring/Summer 2025. The new collection will encompass load-hauling trekking packs, versatile daypacks, minimalist options for fast & light adventures as well as Rab’s popular mountaineering and alpine packs.

Since Autumn/Winter 2024, consumers can access Material Facts information for Rab packs. Material Facts were successfully introduced for Rab’s apparel and sleeping bag ranges in Autumn/Winter 2023, marking a significant stride towards more transparency and honesty in communicating sustainability credentials at product level. The Material Fact tables provide details on:

· Total recycled materials by weight, followed by a detailed breakdown of the recycled content in the fabrics, insulation, zips, and trims, 

· The PFAS content by fabrics, insulation, zips, and trims, 

· Country of manufacture, 

· Amount of renewable energy used in the production process.
